During the past few seasons, the heel length had been experimented, had caused physical abuse to the models, and also burning holes in many women’s pockets.

This season, Alexander Mcqueen decked out an army of “aliens” in his collection aptly titled Plato’s Atlantis, wearing these sky high 12” heels. As a result, the models walked in a peculiar way that resembled some “prawns” I believe might be familiar with some of you. The show was no doubt a visual spectacle, in terms of artistic direction and tailoring excellence that Mcqueen had always worked towards to. The Man, is a Master at what he does.

But..

Why are the heels so high? Is there some sort of fetish on these heels?

After some www surfing, here are some interesting findings.

Early life events may or may not be involved, and they noted that Freud ascribed an interest in feet “to the notion that feet are a penis symbol”.

Other researchers have suggested that the feet and the genitals occupy the same region of the brain and that there might therefore be some overlap.
